GENERAL DESCRIPCIÓN

The Altarpiece of the Virgin of Guadalupe takes the form of the seventeenth century altarpieces, which follow a normal trace; are centralized because they draw the viewer's attention, as you can see the main street is the widest and highest of all, where is located the image owner; however the side streets are equally high but narrow, this format visually rises since the auction as decreases in proportion superimposed body which gives some perspective up. This corresponds to the characteristic tableau decorative plants which softens the stiffness of the lines of the construction elements; regularity of the predella is ornamented with thistle leaves bearing horizontal line across the colonnade, whose plant mark up gutters and ledges that are ahead preparing axes accents, Solomonic columns are tritóstilas, where the first third is decorated by regular tallies and the remaining two are occupied by the helical guides, marked by thistle leaves.

DIMENSIONS
2.60High M, by 2.20 wide, without considering the bank, to adapt the space for which normally would measure 1m high, therefore the altarpiece with the bank would measure of 3,60 High M, by 2,20 wide, the reason that the bank is not considered because it is suitable to the place where it is installed, these dimensions are conducive to domestic chapels, or places of worship as a chapel or a tabernacle.
MATERIALS
Pine Woodcarving (as they used to be created these works in the Valley of Mexico), with preparation for gold golden 23 kts (This altarpiece is not gold, gold is applied when permanently installed, when you finish your exhibition). The paintings are done on canvas and oil on canvas.
Overall the performance of the altarpiece of the Virgin of Guadalupe is a work based on architectural techniques, pictorial, and seventeenth-century ornamental. However, is an original work since the study, design, composition, and implementation were performed by Dr.. in Arq. Gabriel Rivera Madrid.
